Dear CHRO Moves reader,
You may be aware that CHRO Moves started as an offshoot from one of my other blogs, CFO Moves.
You also may be aware that I spend a lot of effort being visible and identified as an executive search consultant specializing in the Office of Finance.
CHRO Moves is the only blog I have that focuses outside the subject of the Office of Finance. You may have been asking yourself why I spend efforts building relationships with the Office of Human Resources. The reason is simple. I believe that Finance and HR have significant supporting roles in the success of their organization. Unfortunately, I have seen too many times where Finance and HR do not work together as well as they could be.
I rarely use the forum at CHRO Moves to share news other than hires and unhires. Today, I hope you allow me the latitude to introduce an announcement on a very special personal project.
Today, Monday March 17th, is the date that my new book is available in stores across the United States. Guide to CFO Success: Leadership Strategies for Corporate Financial Professionals, available in hardcover and e-book, is published by Wiley & Sons.
I am introducing this book to you because, as a senior HR executive, you will gain value from reading and sharing this book.
In Guide to CFO Success I identify that the CFO needs to have excellent relationships for their success. I discuss that Finance needs an excellent relationship Human Resources and identify areas where Finance and HR can work together for their own success as well as the company’s success.
